상하수도 공학 (Water Supply and Wastewater Engineering)
This course is an overview of engineering approaches to protecting water quality with an emphasis on fundamental principals. Theory and conceptual design of systems for treating municipal wastewater and drinking water are discussed, as well as reactor theory, process kinetics, and models. Physical, chemical, and biological processes are presented, including sedimentation, filtration, biological treatment, disinfection, and sludge processing.
폐수처리공학 (Wastewater treatment Engineering)
This course has been designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of industrial wastewater treatment including physical and biological concepts. Actual wastewater treatment plant operation and case studies with those fundamentals has been included. Examinations, problem sets, and project writing required.
생물학적 폐수 처리 (Biological wastewater treatment)
An introduction to the analysis, characterization, and modeling of biological processes and reactor configurations commonly used for water quality control; applications to the development and design of specific wastewater treatment operations.
하수처리 공정 디자인 (Wastewater treatment design)
This course is expected to provide not only knowledge of the technology of wastewater treatment, but also a deeper understanding of the design process. Actual wastewater treatment plant operation and case studies with those fundamentals has been included. Examinations, problem sets, and project writing required. The assumption is that students have had at least one course in environmental engineering and at least one course in fluid mechanics or hydraulics.
환경공학 (Environmental Engineering)
This course includes the fundamental concepts in environmental engineering dealing with water, air and energy. Based on chemistry, biology and physics, we can figure out the ways to prevent and control to environmental problems. This course covers mass/energy balances, chemical reaction engineering, drinking water and wastewater engineering, atmospheric engineering, site remediation, energy etc. Environmental regulations, policy and ethics are included as well.
