The Water Energy Link Laboratory (WELL) at Hanyang University performs research to benefit society.

Our current projects are the development/application of various water treatment technologies to achieve greater water resource availability, lower energy consumption and resource recovery.

 

Engineered applications/developments include drinking water purification and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. Also, we study microbial communities in both natural and engineered systems to better understand their role in waste treatment and bioenergy.
